Since I’m not audacious enough, or educated enough on this topic, to make a facebook status on it. DO PEOPLE REALIZE PROP 30 DOES NOT PROMISE THAT SCHOOL TUITION WILL NOT INCREASE? all it mandates are the tax increases. .25% increase on sales tax. meaning we pay more on EVERYTHING we buy. and 10%+ taxes on people who make over $250,000 a year.

I don’t know if I agree with raising taxes on people who make more than others. Yes, they should spread the wealth, i guess. BUT shouldn’t that be their choice. and they can do so by donating to charities and other civic duties. but taxing more than 10% on people who make more than $250,000 in increments? So people who make $250,000 pay a little more than $25,000 in taxes. $500,000 a little more than $50,000 in taxes. And whats ridiculous if you make $1 million a year you have to pay more than $100,000 in taxes. I know it sounds greedy to think that’s ridiculous but they work for their money too and making someone pay that much money to the government is… just A LOT.

But the point is, it’s silly how happy everyone is about YES on prop 30. It wasn’t until now that I actually did my research and found out what it was really about, for this reason I am GLAD I didn’t vote. Because if I did, I would be making uneducated votes, not knowing how you’re using your voice is worse than not using it. People let their opinions on the elections be swayed by media and what other people say about it. Media is so misleading. Which is probably why everyone think prop 30 is to prevent tuition raises, it’s not. Advertisements suggest that the raise in taxes CAN be used towards that, but it most likely won’t anyways. Doubt that more money will be budgeted for schools, meaning tuition WILL go up. My marketing teacher was talking about that in class the other day. How silly…

I’m just so much better off on my own. I hate having to deal and react to other peoples emotions. I feel like whenever I let people close to me eventually they become negative sources in my life. By myself, I’m able to keep my life so positive without any bad vibes or anything. More people, more drama. That’s why I keep my circle small. I try to be accepting but its hard when people try to push their beliefs and values on me. Let’s all just agree to disagree and do whatever we like. That’s the kind of people I want to surround my self with. Not being so concerned in what the other is doing… Just do what we do. No expectations or judgements. Sighh, this probably makes no sense
